The Favorites Screen is a customized list of only those names you have added from either the Home Screen page or the List Screen.
Favorites Screen
The "Home" button located on the left side of the menu bar will return you to the Home Screen.
The Search Bar allows you to search for one particular name in your Favorites LIst.
The names are listed alphabetically and color coded according to gender. The name “Anna” is highlighted blue because it has been selected by the user. Once you select a name, you will be taken to the Expanded Information page.
Along the right side of the screen is the Alpha Selector which functions the same as it does in the Contacts application. However, unlike the Contacts application, only letters you have in your list appear instead of the entire alphabet making it easier to select the letter you wish.
As your finger touches a letter in the Alpha Selector, all favorite names starting with that letter are immediately moved to the top of the screen.

FAVORITES (Main)
Across the bottom of the screen are FOUR distinct buttons each representing their own unique function. They are individually discussed below.
FAVORITES (Lower Buttons)
The "NameShare" button allows you to email your favorites list of names to your friends and family, or to yourself for later viewing. Once you tap the NameShare button, the email application is launched and your favorites list of names is placed inside the body of the email including the pronunciations and definitions.
The "Add New" button allows you to add a name or a new name spelling that is not in the database to your favorites list (see screen below).
When you tap on the Add New button, this screen will appear complete with a keyboard for data entry.
The first field has already been selected as this is where you will enter your new name. Begin typing as usual.
Next, you will want to choose whether your new name is male or female, which will determine the gender color (PINK for female and BLUE for male).
If you choose to enter in any notes, such as your own definition or any additional information you desire, you can do so in the "Notes" section.
If for any reason you wish to exit this screen without entering a new name, you can tap the "Cancel" button in the upper left hand corner.

You will be greeted with a confirmation message that your new name has successfully been added to your Favorites List. Hit "OK" and it will now take you back to your Favorites List where your new name now resides.
The "Last Name" button allows you to add a last name (surname) which will be displayed in the Returned Name section on the Home Screen.
When you tap on the Last Name button, this screen will appear complete with a keyboard.
Type in the last name as you would like it to appear on the Home Screen.
When you are happy with your selection, tap the "Save" button in the upper right hand corner. Conversely, if you would like to exit this screen and return to the Favorites main screen, tap the "Cancel" button.
To remove the last name from the Home Screen, please return to this page and manually delete the name. Now when you search for names on the Home Screen, no last name will appear after the returned name.

When you tap the "Advice" button, the screen below will appear.
The Advice Screen is a text based section of the program that provides you with guidelines on how to best choose a name that will work well with your own last name.
From this screen you can either return to the Favorites main screen by clicking the button in the upper right hand corner, or you can navigate back to the Home screen by tapping the "Home" button in the upper left hand corner.
